This spot was on our list for top notch breakfast tacos. My god, it did not disappoint. The chorizo was perfectly seasoned. I assume it was made in house. The tortillas were the lightest fluffiest flour tortillas I’ve ever had. Breakfast tacos were only 2.50. The courtyard seating area was cute and fun. The sauces were also incredible.
Staying downtown for the volleyball national tournament and did a quick search for local Tex Mex place This place had amazing reviews and we love it as well. I had the brisket taco and shrimp taco as well as elotes. My wife had chicken tacos. The salsa and chips were probably our fav due to the high quality salsa

Great Authentic Mexican Food in Downtown Dallas! First time in downtown Dallas and I saw their reviews and menu. There is public parking by the resturant and easy to walk to. You order at "la ventana" (window) and find a seat. There are many coverings and it is dog friendly so our little dog got to sit under the table with us. We had the tacos de pastor and carne asada. We also had elote, chips and guacamole. I also tried the aguas frescas: jamica and horchata. Delicious on this warm day. Everyone that I interacted with was very nice and checked in on us. They have different salsas available and you can ask for takin. There are alcoholic beverages too and this would be a fun place with friends in the evening.

Taqueria La Ventana is a solid go-to spot for breakfast burritos and tacos all day long. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and quick. Bonus: parking is free with validation, which makes it an easy choice in the area.
I could of spent all week here, the patio with the music and the drinks and the tacos... We were lucky enough to stop by at random and had great drinks, great tacos, great times. It was the perfect stop on a hot day and hit the spot
